        Hi all,
I have not seen any color change on the dositube and am wondering if this is me not reading it right since I do not know what I am looking for. Please send a picture of one that is color changed or if you are experiencing the same non color change let me know. We have had no moisture this season in Lacombe. Thanks Patty

A lack of colour change, even after several weeks, is typical under dry conditions.

When you do eventually get rain, remember to move the chamber as soon as possible, as per the Ammonia Dositube SOP. In this case, since your dositubes have been deployed for quite some time, we recommend installing fresh ones when you relocate the chamber. If the rain was patchy and didn’t cover the plot evenly, select a location that did receive moisture.

This year is very wet for us, and we only seeded this past Monday (June 10), so we don’t have a photo to share. I will task our field techs with snapping a couple and share them with the group asap.
